Reading Focus' success is based on the skill mastery of focused activities designed to address specific standards.  For the nature and needs of the fifth grade  student, lessons must be exciting, interesting, and rewarding while being void of extremely immature facsimiles.  To reach the fifth grade student Reading Focus has developed research-based-exciting activities.  

Reading Focus also gives remedial students another chance to learn the required skills to move on to the rewards of literacy. 

What are the goals of this 5th Grade Book?   

1. To teach students to grasp comprehension skills that authors use.
2. To make reading less challenging.
3. To help students learn the pleasures and treasury found in reading.
4. To make reading more enjoyable forever.

The goal of the Reading Focus Program is to support teachers with the demands that necessitate a level of conformity and control of comportment that challenges regardless of how accommodating the classroom may be to the child’s individual nature and needs. 

Reading Focus understands and was written to assist with these conformities.  Meanwhile, preparing children to read with understanding is the top priority of Reading Focus.  Our methods and abbreviated approach systematically cover skills for students to grasp the fundamental principles of literacy.

Reading Focus is an engaging medium for providing instructions of specific comprehension strategies. 

Reading Focus provides opportunities for review and remediation of previously taught skills, or newly taught skills that students need to know in order to increase understanding. 

This resource supports students who are struggling to grasp and recognize nomenclature, definitions, and concepts.

Reading Focus was written to introduce comprehension, but may serve as a reinforcement or supplemental resource to help make literacy dreams come true for students, teachers, and parents.
