Consonants Blended with Vowel Digraphs and Endings
Objective(s):
The student(s) will be able to blend the sound of a syllable or word when given consonant b-z, with a vowel digraph pattern.
The student(s) will be able to identify and articulate closed endedsyllables or words using consonants blended with vowel digraphs+consonants c+vv+c.
Prerequisite Skills:
The student must know how to enunciate the alphabets (a-z), and knowvoiced and unvoiced alphabetic sounds.
Materials/Methods:
Chalk or marker, board or screen, overhead projector, transparencies

Procedure/
The teacher will demonstrate the voiced  phonic sounds.
Activity:
The teacher will lead the students in Rhythm  and Rhymes.
The teacher will demonstrate the unvoiced phonic sounds.
The teacher will demonstrate the voiced vowel sounds.
Student:           Rhyme with rhythm consonant and vowel sounds.        
The student(s) will brainstorm for words with cvvc word patterns.
